According to Dr A.Gorvel Occupational physician:

The decision on medical fitness for the job is based on the risks to which the employee is exposed and on his or her state of health.

As part of the tasks to be performed on a wind turbine, it will be necessary to evaluate:

  • cardiac stress related to the effort of the ascent in the wind turbine
  • exposure to electromagnetic fields
  • exposure to heat and cold
  • exposure to the weather
  • the load port
  • the risk of falling
  • rope work aggravates the risks

In view of these risks, it will be necessary to eliminate :

  • Cardiovascular and respiratory pathology compromising effort
  • a cardiac rhythm disorder
  • an abnormality of the locomotor system
  • a visual deficit
  • a risk of discomfort or disturbance of vigilance related to a pathology and/or medication
  • a risk of vertigo
  • unstabilized psychiatric pathology

In addition, it is important to ensure that you are familiar with the principles of prevention of the harness syndrome.
